Apeks Marine Equipment Dive into the Plastic Free Movement

**

It is Big Live World’s passion to inspire awareness for change. Apeks Marine Equipment is on a mission to eliminate single-use plastic from their packaging; they have retired their shrink-wrap machine in an immediate effort to make a difference.

It is always good to see, but no surprise, businesses who work with our beautiful ocean are looking to take care of it.

Getting started with what you can eliminate is something I feel is so important, there is no gesture to big or too small. There will always be more to improve on, we have a lot of work to do, but taking one step at a time where we can as soon as we can is most important.

All we ask everyone to do is think, look into your life and your daily activities where and when do you use plastic? Where can you immediately make a difference. Focus on that, start the process of elimination!

Apeks Marine Equipment has been working on redesigning to remove all single-use plastic from their packaging. The new plastic-free packaging is already in use and as of Monday, (World Ocean’s Day, 2020). It is the start of a massive shift I am sure we will be seeing from many industries.
